General Information:
  • Username: Doxaidis
  • Discord including tag: (Doxaidis#2077)
  • Age: 20
  • gameME: http://stats.wonder.tf/playerinfo/89316
  • SteamID: STEAM_0:0:63564997
  • Voice Recording: https://voca.ro/i97twAOye9s
  • Timezone & Online Times: PST (Pacific Standard Time) is my time zone. I tend to get on very late with the earliest being at midnight and the latest being at 7 in the morning.
Questions:
  • Why are you applying?: Primarily to see if I'm at all able to help in some way with watching over the server during times that admins aren't available too often as I tend to get on when most if not all the admins are asleep.
  • Do you have any previous experience administrating?: Certainly. I've been an administrator and/or a trusted member of many servers across many games including TF2, Gmod, FiveM, and RedM since 2014. Most of the communities I've been a part of are now either dissolved or inactive at the moment, though there are a few outliers.
  • If you have previous experience can we confirm it and where would we do so?: The only people I could think of that would be able to confirm my experience would be the owner, co-owner, and some of the head administrators that have seen me in action as an admin of a FiveM server known as Radiant Gaming (a FiveM RP server). Should you wish to get in contact with them, I will happily provide their discords.
  • Why should we choose you over all other applicants?: I like to consider myself effective at diffusing heated situations which many can struggle with. Also, due to my abnormal sleep schedule, I believe I can assist with completing anything that could be asked of me at late hours of the night.
  • What personality traits do you posses?: If I were to separate my personality into 4 bullet points they would be: Considerate, positive, fair, and humble.
  • If you want, please elaborate your chosen traits:
  • Considerate: Generally speaking, I like to do my best to think on what another person could be thinking when they make a decision. I've found that it can help to make effective responses to another person.
  • Positive: In most situations, I tend to keep a carefree attitude which helps to keep the peace when I find myself in a heated situation.
  • Fair: A common compliment I've received in the past, not as an administrator, but as a member of multiple servers, is that if there is ever a conflict between two people, I've always been one to try to come up with a compromise or some form of healthy resolution to that conflict.
  • Humble: Put simply, I don't like to discuss any authority I may have in any situation unless it has gotten so far out of hand, that it needs to be said. I find considerably more success in approaching a player as another player to solve a problem than as an administrator, because more often than not, people who make mistakes unintentionally are more likely to stick around if they don't feel like they have an administrator constantly breathing down their neck.
  • How would you improve the community?: I believe I can make a great difference in helping to establish a healthy environment in the server I often play in. I personally have found success in assuming positive intent when it comes to viewing an issue in the eyes of an administrator. For example, if a BLU decided to shoot down a RED despite that RED complying with the orders given by the warden, he would undoubtedly (in most cases) be viewed as a freekiller that wants to shoot down every RED for no reason whatsoever. The issue with that mindset is that it's assumed that the BLU had ill-intent, but that BLU could have simply misunderstood the warden's order and chose to kill within reason. In a case like that (assuming it doesn't happen with the same BLU over and over again) I think it'd be much more beneficial to treat the accidental freekiller with respect and understanding, reminding him/her not to act so quickly and to instead ask the warden if a RED is KOS or not. This helps to build trust between players and admins, and teaches those in the server that it's fine to make a mistake so long as they're open to feedback so that they won't make it again.
  • How have you helped the community up until now?: Primarily by playing the Jailbreak server and trying to lighten up the mood if things get heated. Nothing crazy, but it's enough to go a long way sometimes.
  • Can you work under somebody who is younger than you?: Assuming there's a level of maturity to be had, absolutely!
  • Have you applied on any other community in the past month? If yes, please specify: The last time I was an administrator in any community was two years ago. Haven't applied to anything since.

App might look interesting and the fact that you've been been an admin elsewhere is also nice, but you have 0 messages on our discord server.

And I dislike this message from you...

I remember that message. It was a bind that I had years ago and one that I was unaware that I still had. It was not a bind that I'd meant to use at all whatsoever, in fact, if it is at all possible to look through my previous messages, I actually said not long after "My bad, it was a bind". Or something along those lines.

Your activity in game is enough, but it's missing in our Discord server and that image shown by Rotary won't encourage me to give you +1.

Also I don't get why you have to copy and paste the rules and bind them in chat.

Understandable. There was an issue in the server where someone misunderstood a rule and misled a couple people, so I went to the rules and copy/pasted the part that he didn’t seem to understand. Thank you for the feedback.

+1 Even if you made a mistake about the bind or not its not that big of a deal for me and it can be fixed since u weren't spamming it. Discord activity can also be increased during this vote on your app.

Hi Doaxidis! Your application is promising and I feel that your previous experience as an admin makes you a good fit for the role. However, there is a lack of activity on the Discord from you which can hopefully be turned around during the application process as Vlad has mentioned. Chat logs are fine bar that one instance Rotary has brought up. For the time being, I'll remain neutral as I haven't played with you on any of the servers or seen your in-game activity so far.

I made a review on your logs and bans. You are clean from everything now.

Despite you said a bad word just one time I think you need this vote because you are clean from everything is important.

The only thing that doesn't convince me is those rules binds. If you will be an admin you have to learn and announce them with your words, not just copying and pasting.

-Good luck :coffee:

im going to change my vote from -1 to neutral, the reasons are because i see that you have been active, when i played with you last you did seem to know the rules and seemed to have changed, i'm not quite going to vote +1 because of the chat log rotary had said and your discord activity. so im going to say GL man
